Member of the Year

The Member of the Year (MOTY) is awarded each year to the member who has contributed to the goals of the Chapter by serving (or having served) as a Committee Chair, Committee Member, Board Member or an Officer; has demonstrated commitment to the profession and to the Association; and has been considered going “above and beyond” the normal call of duty.  Attendance at IAAP events, as well as participation in IAAP sponsored community activities, are also considered.

Chapter members are asked to answer the following questions when nominating a member:

1.   Tell how the nominee showed commitment to the profession and the association

2.   Explain how the nominee went “above and beyond” the normal call of duty
3.   List all the IAAP positions and levels the nominee has served as (e.g., chapter secretary,
state treasurer, division rep, international president)

The Member of the Year is selected in April, recognized at the May Chapter meeting, and featured in the May issue of The Blossom Times.
